PostHog integration

TrueClara reads PostHog as a source of route traffic, event density, and Rollout context. The goal is not to duplicate your analytics tool. The goal is to keep route-level decisions grounded in the same evidence that teams already trust.

What you need

  • a PostHog personal API key with read access
  • the project and host that contain your production traffic
  • enough route naming discipline that the graph can reconcile paths cleanly

What appears inside TrueClara

After the connection is established, the platform can use PostHog to inform:

  • route-level activity and traffic baselines
  • quality scans that flag thin or ambiguous instrumentation
  • rollouts and bets that need a measurable proof path

The route graph once product traffic is connected.

What to verify first

Before you treat the integration as complete, make sure:

  1. the most important routes are resolving to the expected sections
  2. the right panel shows live-enough traffic context
  3. the quality scan does not hide obvious gaps behind a passing grade
