Gmail OAuth setup

Gmail connection lets TrueClara pull thread context into Inbox, draft replies, and keep customer conversations attached to the same workspace that already holds revenue and product activity.

What you need

• a Google Cloud project
• Gmail API enabled
• OAuth client credentials
• a redirect URI that matches the TrueClara environment

Before you connect

Make sure the Google project is owned by the team, not a single operator. Inbox context becomes operationally important once replies, cancellation context, and customer signal all start depending on it.

What to verify after connection

1. The connection status shows healthy in settings.
2. New inbound replies appear in Inbox.
3. Drafting and send paths work without exposing raw provider credentials in the UI.
